The Harry Potter Warner Bros. Studio Tour in London is throwing open its door for its first ever Christmas-themed dinner.

The event which will take place on 3 December is described as a “once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to feast in this iconic set”.

Diners will be greeted on arrival with welcome drinks and canapés before making their way to the Hogwarts dining room which will be dressed for the festive occasion, including original props used in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone from flaming Christmas puddings to hams studded with cherries.

The adult-only (over 18s) event certainly pulls on the heartstrings of those who grew up reading J.K. Rowling's books.

To ensure each visitor looks and feels the part they will be gifted a wand at the table and treated to two courses of Christmas dinner with all the trimmings.

After dinner, fans will be able to drink Butterbeer in the backlot café, walk through Diagon Alley covered in a layer of snow, sneak into the Gryffindor common room and the Weasley’s kitchen at The Burrrow and devour a selection of three festive dessert bowls on Platform 9 ¾, alongside the original Hogwarts Express.

While there is no mention of the iconic Yule Ball, we imagine it may just become the biggest party of the year with the night set to end with music, dancing and a bar for those who want to purchase additional drinks.

Visitors are encouraged to wear evening wear alongside Hogwarts attire.

Tickets cost a steep £230, however we have no doubt it would make one unforgettable Christmas present. Take a look at the menu below and see full details of the event at wbstudiotour.co.uk/dinner.
