Anybody who read our article about how to stress less and introduce more fun into your day will be delighted to see this new pop-up embodying just that sentiment.
Jump In! is an art installation, based in Hammersmith, West London promoting "the transformative power of play".
It contains 81,000 calming white balls hosted in a room that will fit up to 30 adults in the headquarters of design company Pearlfisher, who are running the experience.
Jump In! is free to visit - although you have to book a space before you turn up - and Pearlfisher have promised to donate £1 to the charity Right To Play for every person who comes down to the ball pit.
Although the installation is similar to one created by Turner Prize-winning artist Martin Creed from last year, the company are clearly not taking themselves too seriously, with 'pool rules' reminiscent of a swimming pool displayed on the wall and a bar on site to enjoy drinks at once you're finished messing around in the ball pit.
The ball pool is deep enough that you really can jump in to it, and the walls are padded so that you can get as energetic as you dive into the experience of childhood birthday parties once again.
Pearlfisher posted a video of the installation of their ball pit on YouTube, explaining a little more about the concept:
"We decided to celebrate how childlike fun and freedom encourages and promotes pure creativity by turning part of our studio into a ball pit."
The sad news is that the ball pit is only open until Friday 13th February, so email jumpin@pearlfisher.com as soon as possible to reserve your place. If you need any more convincing, watch the video below:
