Fancy hanging out in Monica Geller's apartment? The Friends set is coming to the UK

In news to raise our excitement levels so high it's almost embarrassing, the show none of us can leave behind is coming to London in the form of a pop-up festival celebrating all there is to know and love about Friends.

Comedy Central, who have been airing the American sitcom in the UK since 2011, are celebrating a new deal keeping the much-loved programme exclusively on the channel for another four years by arranging FriendsFest - taking place in London from September 16-20.

The Boiler House on Brick Lane will be hosting the experience, which is chock full of delusion enablers, such as a scale set of Monica Geller's apartment to pretend we live in (it's unclear whether we're allowed to ride in on Pat the Dog), an exhibition of original props and memorabilia to lovingly gaze at, and a café inspired by Central Perk to have meaningful conversations and territorial sofa battles in, as well as a replica of the fountain in the opening credits to frolic around.

Tickets for the five-day event go on sale today at £5 each on the See Tickets website. Not convinced? There's even a blow dry salon to get that desirable Rachel Green look and a New York-themed courtyard (presumably to ‘go long’ in).

Meanwhile, viewers can fall in love with the guys all over again as Comedy Central is starting from the beginning, showing all 236 episodes in chronological order on weekdays, starting Monday 24 August.

Friends, starring Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Davic Schwimmer, Lisa Kudrow, Matt Le Blanc and Matthew Perry, finished in 2004 after 10 years and 10 phenomenally successful seasons. With almost six million people still tuning into the channel to watch the show every month, its popularity is clearly not diminishing and we imagine tickets will go fast. See you there (bagsy the couch - sorry).
