She was the toast of London 2012 and now gold medallist Jessica Ennis is taking her fame to new heights with a starring appearance in children's comic The Beano.
The Olympic heptathlete - who was roared on by millions as she raced to victory in Team GB's historic "super Saturday" - will grace the cover of a special Olympic edition of the comic, out tomorrow (Wednesday 22 August).
The frankly genius sequence will see "Ennis the Menace" go head to head with Dennis the Menace in the so-called "Menace Heptathlon."
One scene (shown below) depicts the 26-year-old hurling tomatoes at Dennis, proclaiming: "You're NO match for Ennis the Menace! I've got a gold in pulling pranks!"
A spokesman for the comic said, "Just when she thought her golden summer couldn't get any better, Olympic heptathlon star, Jessica Ennis is immortalised on a very special cover of The Beano."
The comic appearance is yet another small step towards Stylist's Fair Game campaign, as we campaign for greater media coverage of women in sport.
