Look at the little delight that arrived over the weekend.
The as-yet unnamed baby female chimp surprised workers at China's Xixiakou Wild Animal Preserve on Saturday.
The fluffy bundle's 40-year-old mother, Yuan Yuan, should be approaching menopause, but the adult chimp delighted staff when she fell pregnant two years after giving birth to a male chimp in 2010.
Yuan Yuan's latest arrival, above, was born on Saturday afternoon, weighing in at just 1.5 kilograms.
The adorable creature, dressed in a specially adapted cloth gown, is being kept in an incubator and cared for by staff at the animal preserve.

Yuan Yuan, above, has given birth relatively late, with the life expectancy of chimps in the wild averaging around 40 years, while chimps in captivity have been known to live up to 60 years.
