An adorable line-up of endangered baby animals star in a new nature series on BBC One.

Nature's Miracle Babies, beginning this Sunday (4 September), sees zoologist Martin Hughes-Games travel the globe to chart the moving stories of precious animal offspring born against the odds.

The undeniably cute babies include orphaned elephants in South Africa, vulnerable Indian rhinoceroses, Barbary lions reared in European zoos and panda cubs in China.

They all represent species facing a tough fight for survival in today's world, and, as such, are vital lifelines in the future survival of their breeds.

See photos of animals featured in the series, above, or tune in for the first episode this Sunday (4 September) on BBC One at 6.30pm.
