Welcome to Pig Beach, a Bahaman island populated by swimming pigs.
The animals enjoy a dip in cool natural spring water during endless days of baking heat, and survive on the hospitality of locals and tourists.
Around 20 pigs inhabit the island, swimming alongside holidaymakers and obliging their photographic demands:
They're even known to swim up and greet visiting ships.
Legend has it the pigs made the island their home after being dumped by sailors who had planned to return and use them for meat.
Other theories suggest the animals survived a shipwreck, escaped from a local islet, or are part of an elaborate PR stunt to entice tourists to the island.
Redditors visiting the Bahamas have sailed to the island and posted pictures of their friendly island hosts.
