Daffy’s – who were among the first distilleries to introduce a 50ml miniature bauble to their range of gin products – has created a “letterbox-friendly” gin Christmas card for 2018.

Just like any other greetings card, it features a snowy landscape (we, all of us, are still dreaming of a white Christmas, just like the ones we used to know) – only this one is adorned with a Daffy’s figurehead.

Inside the card, the lucky recipient will find a 50ml bottle of Daffy’s Gin alongside a festive message.

Speaking to The Spirits Business about the card’s design, Chris Molyneaux, managing director and distiller of Daffy’s Gin, explained: “Earlier this year we came up with the mission to try and design the ultimate Christmas card containing a bottle of Daffy’s.

“We are really happy with what we’ve created – the ideal Christmas card for any gin fan.”

To ensure that your little bottle of booze makes it safely to your loved one, you can personalise your message online and have Daffy’s post it to them directly. The riskier option, of course, is to have the card sent to yourself so that you can write your festive note and post it off with your own fair hands.

Why? Well, it only takes one really intense day at work, and that teeny-weeny gin suddenly starts looking all too appealing – although maybe your nan wouldn’t mind if you sent her an empty bottle in the post, eh? After all, she’s the one who’s always said it’s “the thought that counts.”
