Naqvi adds a valuable visibility tip that doesn’t need to take place in person: “Always acknowledge others,” she says. “Whether it’s a colleague, your boss or someone else, recognising their efforts can make a big difference. A simple acknowledgement or a word of encouragement can help build relationships and make you more memorable in a positive way. This kind of supportive behaviour not only boosts morale but also helps establish you as a valuable team player.”

Macpherson agrees, adding: “Nobody will remember you if they’ve never interacted with you.”
