Quite possibly the most endearing animal companionship ever - meet Buttons and Kitty, the puppy and kitten who have formed an adorable friendship after being paired together in Battersea and Cats and Dogs home. We don’t know about you - but we’re in love.
The cute twosome were abandoned when they were very young, but they have palled up and are keeping each other company - so much for cat and dog fights!
Buttons, the baby Jack Russell, was born at the home but rejected by her mother as being the ‘runt’ of the litter, whilst Kitty was brought to the home when she was was found abandoned in a back garden. They were put together at around two weeks old, and ever since the unlikely pair have been completely inseparable- they eat, sleep and play together, and Buttons even cried when Kitty was moved to the Cattery.
In news that excited the entire Stylist office this Friday afternoon, we've learned that the staff are looking for someone willing to adopt this gorgeous duo - in the hope that they will get re-homed together. Any takers?
