What is it? Contemporary Latin American, fine dining restaurant MNKY HSE is putting on a special Day of the Dead celebration, transforming the restaurant with floral decorations and lively music. The menu has had a Halloween-y update too, with a one-night-only Día de los Muertos-themed selection of dishes and drinks (your first Don Julio cocktail is free!). Inspired by the mystic world of London’s Victorian Apothecary, the event will feature immersive performers, including contortionists and a tarot reader for a night of spooky magic you’re unlikely to forget.

What is it? Gorgeous hotel 11 Cadogan Gardens is hosting a Halloween event which will be much more glamorous than ghoulish. The in-house restaurant, Hans’ Bar & Grill, has partnered with champagne brand Veuve Clicquot to put on an evening where you can taste three varieties of bubbles, paired with canapés carefully created to treat you and maybe trick you!

In fact, those who do will get in for free!

What is it? The Book Club in Shoreditch is working with Mexican Londoner Paola Feregrino to create an immersive Day of the Dead event – and one that isn’t in danger of culturally appropriating the holiday at that.

Featuring DJ sets with Mexican and Latinx vibes to get you dancing the night away plus an immersive storytelling experience of Latin America’s most famous folklore legends, this sounds like a night to remember.

What is it? Twice a day this macabre barge will set sail from Camden, winding its way through London’s ancient canals, serving up dark spirits and spooky treats.

What is it? Bourne and Hollingsworth’s Halloween parties are legendary, and this year looks like it could be the coolest yet. This Day of the Dead-themed spectacular promises to keep you entertained with Guinness World Record holding fire artist Snake Fervour, who will perform her mesmerising sword swallowing act under the circus top. Sasha Flexy is lined up to stage her risque fire and pole performances and Penny Valent will bedazzle with her solo burlesque routine.

Daring dance duo Femmes Cartel will also be there with their innovative and erotic choreographed routines, whilst Graeme Clint will be towering above the crowd in his stilt performances.

If that wasn’t enough, Storm Hooper, one of the country’s leading hula hoop acts will be entertaining with her hula hoop speciality act.

What is it? East London rooftop bar Skylight will begin its winter season on 31 October with scary spectacular of an evening, holding a Halloween-themed party with ice skating performances. Guests are encouraged to dress up, with a coveted best costume award on offer.There’ll be street food and live entertainment as well as DJ sets, a chance to get out on the ice yourself and games.

What is it? Sea Containers London is throwing a glamorous Halloween experience in the hotel’s rooftop bar called Magic & Mayhem. As well as an innovative cocktail menu by Bacardi and Grey Goose, there’ll be roaming entertainment in the form of close-up magician Josh Brett, Magical Bones, the professional hip-hop dancer turned illusionist, levitationist and dancer, Sonia Benito, and digital close-up magician, Keelan Leyser. For those feeling particularly daring, there will also be immersive play rooms with tongue-in-cheek games.

What is it? Sanderson’s Long Bar will be throwing a Halloween bash this October, with music loud and long enough to wake the dead. The theme may be a little odd, but bear with us, because fusing Halloween with Ibiza Party means the fun extras like House of Lady Muck Manicures and a Halloween make up artist who will be helping guests get into the scary spirit. There’ll also be a ‘zombie doll tarot reader’ and themed cocktails.

What is it? The London Cabaret Club is transforming into a haunted house this Halloween, offering guests an immersive experience guaranteed to scare them silly. Start the evening by sipping on some limited-edition ‘trick or treat’ cocktails before building up enough courage to fight your way passed the ghosts and ghouls to the main event, where a terrific dance performance will entertain you through a three or five course meal.

What is it? Mayfair restaurant Sexy Fish is turning scary this Halloween, putting on a night of immersive dining and drinking. As diners enjoy the exclusive cocktail menu they will be surrounded by acrobats, dancers and singers, all decorated with dramatic body paint and theatrical make up. In other words, this is the stuff your Instagram story dreams were made of.

What is it? Speakeasy bar Barts will be turning into a spookeasy this Halloween, inviting guests to come and solve a murder mystery set in Chicago 1929. Throughout the night you’ll meet suspicious characters and need to keep your wits about you to analyse the story and the scene.

What is it? This cool east end boozer is getting in there early with a Halloween bash on 26 October. The night will include live music, a fancy dress competition and special spooky punch. We’ll be heading along for the pub’s gorgeous decor and relaxed vibe, which is no surprise seeing as it’s owned by fashion designer Mary Benson and her husband Tadgh Barry.

What is it? This eccentric and genuinely hilarious immersive performance from a train crew damned to hell will take you on a journey to the underground that will never, ever forget. Between mayhem, enjoy a three-course dinner by MasterChef: The Professionals finalist Louisa Ellis.

What is it? A fully immersive dining experience themed on a terrifying journey across the sea at Berners Tavern in collaboration with ocean conservation charity Project 0. There will also be music and entertainment by Nick Grimshaw, Jaime Winstone and Hugo Heathcote.
