Aire Ancient Baths
Hidden just minutes from Covent Garden is a true oasis right in the middle of the city that will instantly transport you to the thermal baths of ancient Rome. Book the Ultimate Bath experience (£135 for 90 minutes) to enjoy the full facilities at your leisure, including the caldarium (hot bath), frigidarium (cold bath), tepidarium (warm bath), balneum (‘bath of a thousand jets), vaporium (eucalyptus-scented steam room) and flotarium (salt bath), as well as a salt exfoliation area. To make your experience even more indulgent, you can add on signature massage treatments.
Talise Spa at The Peak
Situated at the top of the Jumeirah Carlton Tower in Knightsbridge is a serene space with 360-degree views of London’s skyline and a 20-metre pool encased in a glass roof, allowing you to swim in natural light by day and under the stars at night. There’s also an oversized jacuzzi, two steam rooms and a Himalayan pink salt sauna, while treatments have been devised by luxury skincare experts at Omorovicza, 111Skin, Aromatherapy Associates and TheraBody.
Ned’s Club Spa
You don’t need to be staying at The Ned to take advantage of the luxurious spa facilities – spa day passes are available weekdays to everyone for £200, which is redeemable against any spa treatment. After you’ve unwound in the pool, sauna and steam room, treatments include a wide range of deeply relaxing massages, De Mamiel facials, akwaterra sandstone pods and brow, lash, nail and hair services.
Sense
At Rosewood London in Holborn you’ll find Sense, a tranquil space that offers a calming escape from city life. With a wide range of packages on offer to help you unwind and take a moment for yourself, the treatment menu here is extensive, with clinical offerings from the A-lister-coveted Face Place – the only place you’ll find it outside of the US.
Shangri-La at The Shard
For one of the most romantic day spa spots in the city, you can’t go wrong with the spa at the Shangri-La hotel. Located on level 52 of The Shard, there are stunning panoramic views across London guaranteed from the gym, sauna and jaw-dropping infinity sky pool – the highest swimming pool in London (and indeed western Europe).
