From cushions to giving your home a fresh lick of paint, these are the best ‘sweet embrace’ pink homeware products to shop today.
After a summer of hot pink and Barbiecore, Dulux has announced that its colour of the year for 2024 is its soft and delicate pale pink, Sweet Embrace – a colour that brings up feelings of tenderness and comfort. Marianne Shillingford, creative director and colour expert at Dulux, explains the choice behind this particular shade of pink.
“What is so wonderful about Sweet Embrace is its soothing quality. Like a whisper of reassurance in a moment of stress, it has a visual softness that calms the senses and creates an atmosphere of serenity,” she says.
Shillingford adds that this pink “celebrates and optimises every shade around it so you can build a totally individual space in any room. It’s the perfect modern neutral that you can use with confidence, knowing it will unite each element from furnishings to artwork whilst creating a gently uplifting atmosphere.”
And so, taking inspiration from this colour trend, these are nine of the best homeware pieces to shop to add some ‘sweet embrace’ into your home.
