New year, new you? Nah, we don’t subscribe to that mindset either. But, one thing that we do like to be brand-spanking-new as the year ticks into the next is a fresh diary or planner.
In those clean, empty pages lies 365 days of possibilities. From day trips and holidays to get-togethers with friends (fingers crossed we actually get to do some of these in 2021, eh?) or ideas for side projects and new jobs, our diaries become home to our dreams and aspirations as the year goes by.
If like us, you’re a fan of stationery then you’ll go weak at the knees for these beautiful paper goods from some of our absolute favourite stationery purveyors.
There’s a whole mix to choose from including high fashion names like Hermès to stationery experts Papersmiths and old favourites like Papier. Happy choosing and, with that, a happy new year!
Papersmiths 2021 weekly planner A5
Papersmiths brings you this checked planner by The Completist, an independent south London-based brand ran by partners in business and in life, Marko and Jana.
As well as making beautiful stationery like this planner, they also produce music books. It’s a fact which is nodded by the music sheet paper feature inside.
This planner has a two-page spread per week and a two-page spread for each month. It comes with a matching bookmark and has conversion reference pages, a paper size chart and rulers printed at the front.
Choosing Keeping hardback weekly 2021 diary
Choosing Keeping’s exquisite dated diary range features a unique selection of patterned designs, taken from the store’s vast collection of vintage decorative papers from Japan and Italy.
Opt for a surprise or email the store and ask which designs you can choose from. Each one is finished with a hardcover and stitch binding.
This diary has a weekly layout with a broader monthly planning section at the beginning and plenty of cream paper at the back for general notetaking.
Papier Liv & Dom meadows diary
Papier works with hundreds of independent artists to create a huge range of stationery finished with an array of pretty designs.
Here, they’ve partnered with twin design duo Liv & Dom, who draw inspiration from the female form and ancient mythology for their captivating artworks.
This diary comes in both hardback and softback and inside you’ll find weekly, monthly and yearly overviews, plus plenty of space for all your goals, important dates and to-dos.
Selfridges Smythson mid-year leather diary
Want a diary that makes an impact? The fabulous colour and gloss finish of this beauty from Smythson does just that.
Although we can’t pick faults with its aesthetic, this diary won’t quite see you through to next year as it runs from 11 May 2020 to 1 August 2021.
But hey, it gives you an excuse to go shopping for more stationery and ensures you won’t get bored of having the same planner for too long.
Hermès annual agenda refill 2021
If designer brands are your thing, this exquisite ring-binder planner from Hermès will be right up your street.
Across the front cover, you’ll find the brand’s name spelt out in a rural scene, using trees and logs.
Inside there are small sections for each day of the week, with French spellings for an international twist. Oh la, la!
