An alcohol-free evening doesn’t have to be a low-key one, as these 8 no- and lo- London bars prove.
Whether you’re observing Sober October this year or not, there’s no denying that since the pandemic, the number of people going teetotal has increased significantly, with plenty of delicious alcohol-free drinks brands popping up in response. But it’s not only happening on the shelves. Across the country, the hospitality industry is also embracing sober curiosity, from the Tørstigbar in Brighton to Nottingham’s Cafe Sobar.
Thankfully, no longer do mocktails resemble watered-down fruit juice or syrupy lemonades with an umbrella plonked in the top. No- and low-alcohol drinks in 2024 are just as sophisticated, tasty and beautifully presented as their alcoholic counterparts.
If you’re sober curious or simply want to try something different, here are eight of the best spots in the city for a hangover-free night out.
