“It may sound boring, but I don’t think you can go wrong with a really beautiful, great quality extra virgin olive oil, and one of my favourites is from Citizens of Soil,” says recipe developer, chef and consultant Ana Da Costa.

“Extra virgin olive oil is so versatile; it’s a great way to finish BBQ dishes and dress sides like a lovely salad. Or you can just bring a nice hunk of bread with you too for dipping. Or a hot sauce – we are definitely a hot sauce household.”
