These cosy cafes are perfect to warm up in and work from this winter.
Forget frustrating managers or overbearing colleagues. When it comes to our jobs, there is no worse feeling than not being able to concentrate, all the while knowing that your to-do list is growing ever longer. But if it feels like you’ve tried everything to beat the afternoon slump, it may be time to think about working from a different space.
Multiple studies have shown that incorporating breaks and changing our environment throughout the workday is essential for our overall wellbeing and performance, with the benefits associated including improved physical health, increased creativity and heightened productivity.
But if heading out into the cold winter weather sounds less than appealing, why not seek out a cosy spot across the city to help you refuel and refocus. Here are some of our favourite tried-and-tested cafes and spaces in London to work from. Who said you can’t get comfy with a hot coffee and get your work done?
