With a rising popularity in premium and cult brands, we’ve rounded up some of our favourite artisan staple food products to have in your kitchen cupboards.
When it comes to the kitchen, there’s nothing that strikes fear in my heart more than seeing my cupboard staples running low and my pantry looking empty. Especially when they all run out at the same time. But, sometimes you don’t want to just buy the same old beans, chickpeas or sauces. It can be a nice feeling to treat yourself to something a little more premium for your pantry, particularly if they also look great in the cupboard too.
According to the Waitrose Food & Drink 2024 report, this is the year that the pantry went premium. “We’ve seen a fuelled interest from food-loving customers in the provenance of store-cupboard stalwarts, while social media has made them more brand-savvy.” A pantry stocked with premium, ethical and aesthetically pleasing brands has become a status symbol and something consumers are prioritising in their food shops.
With that in mind, we’ve rounded up some of our favourite artisan and premium staple products to have in your kitchen cupboards.
