Easter weekend is fast approaching and what better way to spend it than by eating chocolate and sipping cocktails? Especially when they’re made with Baileys.

If you’re bored of the standard concoctions and really want to get into the treating mood for the long weekend, we’ve got some truly mouth-watering sips in store for you.

We’ve rounded up four imaginative twists on the classic martini for you to try your hand at - all of which are creamy, decadent and made with the iconic Baileys Original Irish Cream.

So, if you’re looking for delicious ways to shake up your serves this Easter, read on for four recipes that won’t disappoint…

1.  The zesty one

There really is no better flavour combo than chocolate and orange…

Why not serve this take on the classic martini as an evening treat on Easter Sunday? After all, you can never have too much chocolate.

You’ll need:

50ml Baileys Original Irish Cream

25ml triple sec

75ml milk (dairy or soya but for extra yum try half milk, half cream)

2 chocolate orange slices to garnish

Ice

Method:

1. Add ice to your cocktail shaker

2. Add your Baileys, triple sec and milk

3. Shake, shake, shake…

4. Strain into a cocktail glass

5. Grate one chocolate orange slice over the top, garnish with the other and serve

The chocolate orange flavour hook never gets old, and it’s guaranteed to go down a treat with your guests. Thank us later.

2. The minty one

Craving something with a refreshing taste, but not ready to stop indulging yet? This mint chocolate martini has got you and your guests covered.

You’ll need:

50ml Baileys Original Irish Cream

15ml Creme de Menthe

75ml milk (dairy or soya but for ultimate indulgence try half milk, half cream)

Grated mint chocolate and fresh mint leaves to garnish

Ice

Method:

1. Add ice to your cocktail shaker

2. Pour in the Baileys, creme de menthe and milk

3. Shake to your heart’s content (but don’t spill any)

4. Strain into a cocktail glass

5. Garnish with the grated mint chocolate and mint leaves, and serve to thirsty guests

Get the girls together, pop on your favourite movie and relax as you all sip on your new favourite cocktail. Bliss.

3. The salted caramel one

If you really want to serve your pals something special, mix up this coffee and salted caramel treat as an aperitif. It’s super indulgent and totally irresistible.

The best part? You’re only going to need four ingredients. 

You’ll need:

50ml Baileys Original Irish Cream

25ml fresh espresso 

15ml salted caramel syrup (plus extra for drizzling)

Ice

Method:

1. Add the ice to your cocktail shaker

2. Add the Baileys, espresso and salted caramel syrup and shake it all up

3. Strain into a cocktail glass and drizzle with salted caramel syrup

It’s a mouth-watering one that’s almost too good to share but we’d encourage you to spread the joy. Everybody loves something that’s made with love, so you’ll score bonus points for being an incredible host.

4. The espresso one

Coffee lovers, rejoice. This twist on the classic is the perfect substitute for your weekly Friday afternoon flat white with your friends.

And it’s deliciously easy to make…

You’ll need:

50ml Baileys Original Irish Cream

25ml fresh espresso (cold)

25ml Smirnoff vodka

3 coffee beans to garnish

Ice

Method:

1. Add the ice into your cocktail shaker

2. Pour in the Baileys, Smirnoff and espresso

3. Shake it up and then strain into your cocktail glass

4. Garnish with the coffee beans and serve away

It’s a classy cocktail with a smooth flavour and a coffee kick. In our eyes: the perfect way to start the bank holiday weekend. 

With four incredible to cocktails to choose from, you don’t really have an excuse not to get creative in the kitchen when it comes to treating your pals this Easter.
