We’ve got the lowdown on everything you need to know about walking, cycling, flowing and dancing your heart out to your favourite Swiftie soundtracks – singing along actively encouraged.
If putting on a spangly catsuit and belting out the lyrics to Bejeweled doesn’t sound like your current exercise regime but you’d very much like it to be, then you’re in luck. We’ve officially entered a new fitness era – one in which Taylor Swift workouts are a thing.
You don’t need to have an armful of friendship bracelets or Eras tour tickets to get in on the action, either. From free online classes to IRL Taylor-themed fitness classes and experiences, this might be just the fitness motivation you need to beat the winter fug.
Ready to fill that blank space in your diary with Swift’s relatable lyrics and addictive beats? Check out our picks of the best Swiftie-themed workouts to try now.
Walk, strength train or stretch with Peloton’s Taylor Swift Collection classes
You don’t need to own a Peloton Bike, Tread or Row to sample the 30+ Swiftie classes on the fitness platform. Peloton’s sessions showcase a range of songs from 1989 (Taylor’s Version), Midnights, Red (Taylor’s Version) and Folklore albums. They’re all available on Peloton’s App One, which starts from £12.99 a month and comes with a 30-day free trial.
Classes start at just 10 minutes, and you’ll find outdoor runs, core sessions and upper-body strength classes, as well as yoga, pilates and stretching. There are also bike rides, treadmill runs and rowing sessions for those who have the equipment. Each class has the energy and enthusiasm of a personalised concert – and yes, the instructors dress according to album aesthetics and themes.

Peloton’s Ally Love, who teaches 30-minute cycle rides set to Taylor’s Midnights and the recently released 1989 (Taylor’s Version), describes these experiences as “highlights of [her] Peloton career”. For Love’s latest 1989 ride, members showed up wearing concert T-shirts and Love gave studio riders custom-made Swiftie bracelets reading ‘Lovesquad’. (As an out-and-proud Swiftie, she often exchanges friendship bracelets with studio members ahead of a ride.)
“Taylor Swift has an ability to connect with all of us through her honesty, her simple lyrics,” Love tells Strong Women. “Not only has she created eras of her life through these albums but they each have a look, a vibe and an intensity. People gravitate towards that.”
Love finds the music motivating, from the pop hits to the slower songs which allow cyclists to go heavy on a climb.
“It’s this idea that you’re going to show up and be your most sparkly self. You don’t have to be loud; you don’t have to say all the right things. You can just be you. Whatever your output on that leaderboard is, we’re just happy you’re here. That’s the style and the vibe that she offers.”

Try TikTok’s Taylor Swift treadmill struts
Hot girl walk, but make it Taylor? Yes, please. TikToker Allie Bennett (@benntheredonethat)has hundreds of thousands of followers and her Taylor Swift-themed ‘treadmill struts’ have amassed millions of views since she started posting them in 2022.
No matter which Tay-list you go for, Bennett offers some general guidance for how to ‘strut’.
Find your pace during that first song, then increase by 0.1 miles with each song change. You can work up to a jog/run for the final two tracks. The workouts last around 30 minutes, with fans swearing that these struts have turned them into cardio converts. Bennett doesn’t exclusively curate playlists for Swifties – we’ve spotted strut playlists from Rihanna to Glee on her page.

Spin to Taylor Swift at Boom Cycle and SoulCycle
London-based cycling studios like Boom Cycle and SoulCycle offer themed Taylor Swift workouts, such as like Boom Cycle’s mashup class of Midnights v 1989 tunes. Boom Cycle instructor Ash Newburn describes working out to Taylor Swift as “complete emotional catharsis”, which helps her to connect to the wider Swiftie and Boom Cycle communities.
“I often invite riders to sink into the nostalgia that old-school Taylor offers – reflecting on what a song means to us while we go for an epic surge is a perfect example of how music soundtracks our lives. I love riding to Taylor because it feels momentous, bigger than the particular day I’m having,” she says.

If the shape of your body is… happiest in downward dog, then head to London studios like Soul Sista Yoga and Forward Flow Yoga, which regularly run Swiftie sessions featuring mixed-eras tracks.
Cake and Yoga Club, a recently opened studio in Earlsfield, hosts themed sessions on Friday evenings, including a Taylor Swift mandala yoga class. Expect dynamic 360-degree movement yoga around the mat and post-yoga treats like rainbow cake (apparently a Taylor fave) and bubbles.
And if you happen to be near Norfolk, the Stables at Ffolkes is running a 75-minute dance-inspired yoga flow later this month. Tickets to the Taylor Swift Yoga Experience cost £20.
Dance the night away at Swiftogeddon

It’s not a formal workout, but Swiftogeddon – the touring Taylor Swift-themed club night – is effectively an evening of dance cardio with your closest friends.
If you want to learn some moves ahead of the event, SOS Dance holds regular Taylor Swift dance choreography classes. Or, for something a bit more intimate, try this free, high-energy Midnights-themed 15-minute barre session.
Train with Taylor’s PT
There might not be a Taylor Swift soundtrack to accompany this one, but anyone curious as to how the singing sensation has the stamina to get through gruelling three-plus hour performances night after night might want to check out Body by Simone.
Taylor is said to be a fan of former dancer Simone De La Rue’s workouts, which combine dance cardio and resistance training. This 20-minute full-body workout, which teams pilates moves with cardio-based jump lunges and explosive jumps, is purported to be TayTay’s go-to.
