If the recently announced Strictly line up has you dreaming of taking up dance yourself, take a look at these classes.

Dancing is one workout that never really goes out of fashion. Every year, the Strictly Come Dancing wagon rolls round and once again, hoards of Brits end up wondering if they could ever master the pasodoble. And even if you’re not a Strictly fan, you might be partial to a kitchen boogie or be tempted to give ecstatic dance a go – having read about its very real mental and physical benefits.

There are so many reasons to take up dance. It’s a guaranteed mood booster. It’s lower impact than running but great cardio nonetheless. It’s a really mindful activity… but doesn’t require any meditation skills. And if you go to real life classes, dancing can be a brilliant way of meeting new people and connecting to a community.

There are loads of dance classes around London – many of which are beginner friendly. Whether you’re looking to become a Latin dancer in order to impress your friends at an upcoming wedding, or you want to make your Cardi B-esq music video dreams a reality with a heels class, there’s a class out there for everyone. All you need to do is scroll down, book a class and psyche yourself up to try something new.
