You can’t move these days for matcha manicures, brownies and lattes. But the benefits of the frothy green tea go far beyond the aesthetics. Aside from containing slower-releasing caffeine, scientists believe that matcha might make us more socially aware, happier and better at our jobs. So, how noticeable are those improvements? Writer Abi Turner ditched her daily Americanos for cups of matcha tea to see if would reduce her social anxiety and office-bound sluggishness. Here’s how she got on.
