If you’re reading this, we can almost guarantee that you already own one of Uniqlo’s mini shoulder bags. The style went viral in the summer of 2022, and we’ve continued to see it everywhere from the office to festivals. Loved for its versatility and affordable price-point (at under £15, it would be a crime not to buy one), the mini shoulder bag has rightfully earned a place in everyone’s wardrobe.

Since its launch that summer, there have been many iterations of the new high street It bag’s look. First we had it in a thicker, padded style; then a corduroy design appeared that every fashion lover could be seen sporting over their shoulder last autumn; and now, for the first time, Uniqlo is releasing the bag in a gingham design, just in time for spring.

Needless to say, gingham will be everywhere this season, so we’ll be scooping up one of these bags to style with everything we own. “I love gingham – it’s the perfect fresh nod to spring,” says Lucy Reber, Stylist’s fashion director. “When I get my hands on one of these bags, I’ll be styling it with a full denim look, keeping me feeling city-ready while still embracing one of the more joyous prints of the season.”

In even better news, the new style comes in four colours: black, pink, yellow and blue. So, you can opt for the black hue for office days paired with a crisp white shirt, while the yellow look will instantly add a pop of colour to your seasonal weekend outfits. The bag’s strap boasts a contrasting, stripe design – adding interest while keeping you looking chic.
