The trainers to buy if you want people to think you know about trainers

Be in the know with which stylish trainers will guarantee you the biggest cool points this season.

The trainer market is at peak product with every brand (performance or not) offering up a comfortable and cool solution for your feet. With Instagram telling you a new ‘coolest trainer to buy now’ every hour on the hour the choice can get a little overwhelming.

You want something that is more in the know than your bog-standard choices, but not something so bold that you can’t wear them to brunch. You’re looking for trainers that are chunky enough for people to know you are ticking off a trend, but not so chunky you trip over your feet on the way to the tube (we have all been there).

You know about Nike x Off-White and you’re into the trainers, but the likelihood of you being awake at 8am on a Saturday morning to try and cop a pair is slim. You’ve seen the Sean Wotherspoon Air Max 97s on Instagram but you don’t really know who Sean Wotherspoon is. You like Converse but you’ve been wearing the same black high tops for the past ten year and you’re ready to mix it up.

We have got you covered, consider this your cheat sheet to the trainers and sneakers to buy if you want people to think you’re a die-hard trainer …but actually you’re only 1% sneakerhead (like the rest of us).

White Adidas Yung-1 trainer

The only trainer to be seen at the fashion weeks just gone was the Adidas Yung 1. Show-goers opted for the bright orange and red versions but for longevity opt in for this cream colour way.
