Once associated with undesirable clogs and hemp t-shirts, ethical fashion has seen a resurgence recently as we all try to shop with a clear conscience.

There are a number of little known, affordable ethical fashion brands that offer beautiful, sustainable clothing and accessories at a snip of the price you may expect.

And now our beloved Topshop is aiming to make ethical fashion even more attainable with the introduction of their first ever sustainable fashion line, 'Topshop Reclaim'.

The collection features 20 new designs made entirely from spare material, with fabric remnants and off-cuts from Topshop's existing stock of jersey, cotton and denim being upcycled into new pieces.

We've already got our eye on the floral silk jumpsuit (above) and the collection will also include cropped shirts with lace overlays, mini skirts and jackets to name a few. Even better, everything is priced from £12 - £65 meaning sustainable fashion is now becoming even more affordable.

The collection comes after the success of three previous collaborations between Topshop and 'Reclaim to Wear', a company launched by pioneering eco fashion label 'From Somewhere'.

Trish Clarke, Head of Technical Services at TOPSHOP said, "We are inspired to challenge textile waste across our product areas, whilst still creating versatile designs that are wardrobe essentials for our customers.

From 70’s button down dresses, to sheer panel print blouses – we want everyday fashion to be sustainable in TOPSHOP’s portfolio and blueprint."
