Spotted on the spring/summer 2024 catwalks at Balmain, Fendi and Feben, the sky blue shade looked magnificent.
Now spring is finally here, it’s time to warm up our wardrobes for the lighter, brighter days ahead. First, we had cream jeans that offered a chic alternative to our trusty blue denim. Then, we spied a whole host of feminine blouses to upgrade our everyday T-shirts and work incredibly well under cute-meets-kitsch floral quilted jackets. But now it’s time to pay attention to colour, and it seems sky blue is the stylish pick of the season.
Spotted on the spring/summer 2024 runways of Balmain, Fendi and Feben, the shade stood out at many key fashion houses. Plus, interior trends seemed to have picked up on it too, proving its popularity across a whole host of items: plates, cushions, throws – you name it. But when it comes to fashion, what is the best way to wear these sky blue shades?
Well, bright white jeans, jackets and trainers will make it really pop, or you can lean into cream for a slightly softer style. The Frankie Shop shirt would work particularly well with cream jeans. Or, if you’re after a more standout style, play with pastels like pink, yellow or even green. And we’ll be pairing the John Lewis trousers with joyful jumpers til the weather warms up. Below, we’ve rounded up nine of our favourite sky blue fashion finds, just keep scrolling to see what they are.
