The love affair of many with Primark seems to be a constant: if it’s not must-buy mugs flying off shelves, it’s low-cost styles being resold at ridiculous prices.

And the chain may have just sparked its next shopping frenzy by releasing a sneaky preview of a wedding line on social media. Yep, a Primark wedding range.

Before you sharpen your elbows, dig out your whistle and prepare to go all Monica Geller down your local branch, we should mention up top that this is not a collection of wedding dresses.

It is, in fact, a line of pre- and post-nuptials goodies:

Pillows, mugs, pyjamas, lingerie, dressing gowns and those signs you hold up at photo booths saying ‘Team Groom’ and ‘Team Bride’ (so perhaps we should have also said ‘during nuptials goodies), as well as what appears to be a garter in some shots.

Details are scant, so we don’t yet know if items such as the Mr and Mrs towels or the My Wifey and My Hubs mugs will be sold as sets, but hopefully they’ll be available separately so couples can choose Mrs and Mrs or Hubs and Hubs.

Other shots showed lingerie including a bridal bodysuit, bras and suspender belts.

With the prices being in dollars and euros, excited fans did speculate that it may not come to UK shores, but we’ve been told by Primark that the range will arrive here mid-May to early June, just in time for wedding season.

Happy couples on a budget – keep your eyes peeled and your whistles at the ready.
