That’s a wrap! Here’s our ultimate digest of the best looks hot off the Paris catwalks.
After a jam-packed couple of weeks, the sun has officially set on the spring/summer 2024 shows, wrapping up in Paris where creativity, ingenuity and integrity was in abundance.
It’s no news that the city of lights is possibly the focal point of the fashion universe and, for this reason, the hottest ticket around. Every season, the French capital boasts spellbinding designs from big-name brands and must-drop labels.
This year was no different, with the usual suspects of Dries Van Noten, Saint Laurent and Peter Do all bringing something fresh and directional. All eyes were on Gabriela Hearst, who bid farewell to Chloé with her fabulous final show, as did Sarah Burton, whose designs for Alexander McQueen took to the catwalk one last time.
Phoebe Philo also made a major (deep breath!) announcement during Paris Fashion Week: she will make her long-awaited return on 30 October. Get it in your diaries, fast.
In the meantime, here’s a rundown of the best catwalk styles from the Paris shows. From oversized knits to skin-tight separates – you’ll be seeing a lot more of these looks in the spring – or you can get ahead of the game right now.

The agenda at Acne Studios? Fierce and fitted. Jeans were studded to the max, dresses were well-tailored and hooded while trucker jackets took a whole new level of cool.

Bright, bold and a little daring, Casablanca’s offerings brought some heat to the catwalk with boot-cut bodysuits, sizzling separates and navel-baring ombré dresses.

Thinking big, literally and figuratively, Jonathan Anderson embraced the idea of shape and space. Models were cloaked in huge open knits with giant buttons, oversized slouchy jumpers and pumped-up shoulder tops.
Givenchy

At Givenchy, floaty, feminine looks were in full force. Think sheer silky dresses and sensual slips – all styled with boxy oversized blazers, striped back make-up and wet-look hair. We want in.
Courrèges
When it comes to quiet luxury and impeccable tailoring, Courrèges always delivers. This season boasted shirts and dresses with sharp-cut collars, fitted coats with fluted sleeves and slashed-look flares. Though subtle, accessorises made high impact from silver cuffs and necklaces to luxe leather handbags and lacquered boots.
Schiaparelli
Schiaparelli went for gold this season, with accessories stealing the show. Giant golden cuffs, statement collars and metallic high tops added a touch of glamour, along with the house’s signatures – Dali-inspired surrealistic necklaces and gilded eyewear.
