Two of our favourite Danish brands collaborated on the spring/summer 2025 runway with a great show of craftsmanship.

All good things must come to an end, and so we wave goodbye to Copenhagen Fashion Week (CPHFW) for spring/summer 2025. After a week on the front row, we’ve taken away five key trends to incorporate into our wardrobes for the next summer season (and prior), including reaching for all-red outfits, sheer fabrics and – inspired by street style looks – hacking off the hemlines of our shorts and skirts to take them even higher.

We also witnessed a few firsts throughout the week, including broadcaster, disability activist, content creator and now model Lucy Edwards being the first blind person to walk the runway at Copenhagen Fashion Week. Sól Hansdóttir, Stem and Bonnetje all showcased for the first time, and jewellery giant Pandora upped its involvement in the event (you may be surprised to know it’s actually a Danish brand) with a standout collaborative runway with Rotate.

“Pandora’s presence at Copenhagen Fashion Week underscores our commitment to celebrating our Danish heritage and supporting the vibrant fashion community in our home country,” says Mary Carmen Gasco-Buisson, Pandora’s chief marketing officer. “As a global leader in jewellery, participating in Copenhagen Fashion Week allows us to showcase our innovative designs and reaffirm our dedication to sustainable and high-quality craftsmanship.” And, after watching the runway, it’s safe to say this was achieved.

Alongside the bold pink dresses, micro shorts and sheer floral skirts that sauntered down the Rotate runway were stacks of gold Pandora bracelets and bangles. Most notably from the recent Essence collection which comes in chic sculptural shapes plated with 14-karat gold. Building on the rising boho trend, jewellery maximalism is sure to be plenty popular next season with same or mixed-metal jewellery being piled onto wrists, ears and necks.

But going one step further than styling classic Pandora items, Rotate creative directors Jeanette Madsen and Thora Valdimars enlisted artist Grete Henriette to create one-off pieces purely for the runway. While the above may look like a simple beaded skirt, it’s actually crafted from 2,000 Pandora timeless silver tennis bracelets, strung together to create a sparkling maxi dress that commanded plenty of attention.

We imagine you’re unlikely to recreate this look at home, though. So, we’ll stick to jewellery stacking, loading up on bangles, bracelets and necklaces to elevate our looks and add a good dose of personality to any outfit. Plus, there’s some joy to be found in jingling while you walk.
