We’ve told you time and time again that animal print is THE print of the season, no matter which season it is. And, if there’s one thing we learned from the catwalks this year, it’s that headbands and hair accessories are very much in fashion for 2019, too.

No wonder, then, that Oliver Bonas decided to combine the season’s two biggest trends into the sort of fashion accessory that it always, always out of stock.

The hair accessories trend has been making waves for some time now, having been worn by countless celebs and bloggers in the form of studded, embellished and plushy satin headbands (many of which hailed from Prada’s S/S19 collection).

And the trend has seeped into the high street, too, with an Oliver Bonas spokesperson exclusively informing Stylist that their range of headbands are absolutely flying off the shelves, with most designs selling out within 2 weeks or less.

The most popular of their hair accessories, however, is undoubtedly their Animal Khaki headband, which retails at £18.

Working both the animal print and khaki trends of 2019, it’s easy to see why this piece has proven so popular – and why so many people have been busy sharing photos of themselves wearing the headband on Instagram.

“The range sold out last week but is now back in stock,” the spokesperson informed us, noting that Oliver Bonas designers “are constantly refreshing the [headband] range”.

If you fancy grabbing a headband before the rest of the herd, though, it’s worth noting that the bright floral yellow headband has just landed at Oliver Bonas and is an updated colourway of a previous best seller. 

It’s worth noting that Stylist’s fashion news editor Billie Bhatia is a huge fan of Prada’s padded headband, and headbands in general – so much so she wrote a story all about her love for the Blair Waldolf-inspired accessory.
