Here’s where to buy Margot Robbie’s beautiful bridesmaid dress

Ah, to be a bridesmaid.

Yes, it’s a tremendous honour to have your pal ask you to do the deed, but it’s a role that can also come with a number of disadvantages. Think expensive hen parties, DIY table decorations, and helping the bride to go to the toilet on her big day, too.

Of course, there’s a uniform to go with the job – and that uniform is the bridesmaid dress. This can go one of three different ways: either it’ll be a gown so pretty you just won’t want to take it off, it’ll be ideal for the day (but never again), or it will be absolutely horrendous.

Margot Robbie, lucky bridesmaid that she is, seems to have fallen into the first category.

That’s right, the real-life Harley Quinn was called upon to perform the services of bridesmaid earlier this week – and the internet has fallen head over heels in love with her grey floral slip dress.

If you squint at the photo she shared on Instagram, you can just about make out Robbie perched on the church steps.

Then again, you could always check out this zoomed-in snapshot which has been busily circulating on Twitter:

The slip dress features a flattering tie-in waist, lace detailing, and subtle floral print – and Robbie kept her accessories simple with pale pink sandals, a sprig of orchids in her hair, and, of course, a big old bouquet of flowers.

If you, like so many others, are now desperate to wear this look for yourself, don’t despair: we’ve managed to track it down for you.

However, as it’s a designer number by Zimmerman, it doesn’t exactly come cheap.

Prepare yourselves to part with £520…

The official product description on brownsfashion.com reads: “With this grey Zimmermann floral print slip dress, you will look and feel like a modern day Daisy Buchanan strolling through the grounds of your own Jay Gatsby.

“The 1920s inspired silhouette is cut from a delicate floral print fabric in muted grey tone and hangs from a spaghetti strap with thin matching fabric belt and period style lace detail along the chest and hem.”

As it’s already selling out fast (that’s the Robbie effect, we guess), it’s worth knowing that the very same dress is in stock on farfetch.com and fwrd.com, too.

Then again, if you’re on the lookout for something similar (and maybe a little cheaper) the high street is there for you, too:

The printed cowl tie slip dress (as seen above) is available in Topshop for £95. And New Look, ASOS, M&S, and Warehouse also boast a good range of slip dresses, too (which is hardly surprising, as it proved to be a hugely popular trend on the catwalks this year).

All that’s left for you to do is choose your favourite.
