Louis Vuitton has opened a special 'zoo' featuring animals made out of their iconic handbags, to celebrate the opening of its new flagship store in the central Chinese city of Wuhan.
The zoo houses a total of 23 animals, including a giant panda, which took more than two months and 74 Louis Vuitton bags to complete.
There's also a cricket, an armadillo and a beaver.
The luxury brand first ventured into the project of moulding their bags into wildlife in late 2011, when it celebrated 100 years of it's small leather goods collection. A duck and a squirrel were some of the first to be made for the exhibition titled Maroquinaris Zoologicae, which has been moving around Louis Vuitton stores across the world for a year.
The giant panda is the latest and most grandest addition to the pop-up zoo.
Travel is rooted in the fashion house's heritage, which began as a trunk maker in the 1800s, so a celebration of the world's animals is not far off.
