Whether you’re looking to update your style with a few key pieces or refresh your entire wardrobe, these London Fashion Week trends are practical, stylish and, importantly, fuss-free.

London Fashion Week has wrapped up, leaving behind a season brimming with vibrant new trends. With over 40 shows staged across some of the capital’s most iconic venues, we saw collections from the likes of Simone Rocha, Fashion East, Emilia Wickstead and Burberry.

As exciting as they are, the catwalk styles can sometimes feel a bit over-the-top for our morning commutes and coffee runs, leaving us wondering how to incorporate them into our own wardrobes. But don’t worry, this season’s collections prove you can achieve catwalk-ready style without the fuss.

Ahead, Stylist’s fashion assistant has rounded up the most wearable trends from the autumn/winter 2025 collections, alongside high street picks to help you achieve the same looks. Keep scrolling to find the best styles for the season ahead.

3 of the best trends to wear from London Fashion Week autumn/winter 2025

1. Relaxed tailoring

Think oversized blazers, slouchy trousers and perfectly tailored jackets – the kind of polished look that makes it seem like you’ve got your life together (even if you’re moments away from crisis).

Roksanda perfected this with fluid tailoring in soft autumnal shades and deep terracotta hues, showing that structure doesn’t always have to mean stiff. Toga presented office-ready pieces, with suits featuring high collars and chic overcoats, while SVC opted for pale grey double-breasted blazers paired with pinstriped shirts tucked in.

For styling, keep it simple and sleek – an oversized blazer with wide-leg trousers will always look chic. If oversized isn’t your style, a fitted blazer with a skirt is a great option. We’d lean into the prim and proper look with voluminous style skirts, ladylike collars and dainty handbags, à la Erdem.

2. Layering through colour

Layering is a trend that’s here to stay, but this season, it’s all about having fun with the colours you combine.

Daniel Fletcher’s debut collection at Mithridate nailed this through unexpected pairings like soft pastels mixed with rich tones of burgundy, chocolate brown and camel. It wasn’t just about throwing colours together; it was about using them in a way that feels easy, wearable and makes the outfit look more interesting.

To make layering work for you, start with a simple base, such as an oversized shirt or a plain crew-neck jumper, like this Gap one below. Then, add colourful layers that will pop – think pale pink with mustard or light blue with deep sea green and wine red shades.

Mixing softer colours with stronger tones adds depth and makes the look feel more put-together without being over the top. The key is to keep it balanced, so the shades complement each other rather than compete.

3. Embellished basics

Don’t think of glitter and gold as just for the catwalks or reserved for special occasions – this season, designers like Erdem, Simone Rocha and Bora Aksu showed us that it’s all about accessorising with intention. Small touches like hair clips, chokers and headpieces are subtle, showing you’ve put thought into your look while still keeping it simple.

Our favourite way to incorporate the trend into your look is by adding a few brooches or pins to a simple wool overcoat or a classic double-breasted blazer, like this Simone Rocha look below. It’s an easy way to introduce some sparkle into your everyday wardrobe, making your outfit feel fresh and thoughtful without looking overdone.
