The autumn/winter collections may not have reached the shops yet, but the British Fashion Council has already got us excited about next season – announcing the London Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2013 provisional schedule today.
As previously reported, British label Preen will be leaving New York to show on the London catwalk, but hat designer Phillip Treacy and New York stalwarts rag & bone will also make their London debut next season.
rag & bone (whose autumn/winter collection is pictured above), will be celebrating the opening of their first European flagship store by presenting in the capital after their New York runway show, stating “We are thrilled to finally open a store in London. It’s exciting to present a collection for the first time in our home town".
Other changes include full catwalk slots for Moschino Cheap & Chic, Anya Hindmarch and Richard Nicoll, plus presentations for NEWGEN designers Lucas Nascimento and Marques Almeida.
London Fashion Week will run from the 14th-18th September 2012 this year, and like last season, creative design duo Antoni & Alison will be kicking off proceedings, with Fashion Fringe (a showcase for up-and-coming designers) closing the schedule on Tuesday.
We’ll be live streaming and tweeting from the catwalk next season, so take a look at what’s coming up by downloading the provisional schedule below (please note this is subject to change).
