Lanvin models party to Pitbull

Think Lanvin, and you probably think of one of the world’s most revered fashion houses, known for its elegant, feminine pieces made in the finest of fabrics. Think of American rapper Pitbull, and well – dingy nightclubs and mobile phone ringtones probably come to mind. So when we came across this video of Lanvin’s autumn/winter 2011 advertising campaign, we couldn’t quite believe our eyes, or ears.

Shot by Stephen Meisel, and sound-tracked by Pitbull’s hit I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho), the unconventional campaign features supermodels Karen Elson and Raquel Zimmermann dressed in gorgeous Lanvin creations, showcasing the dancing style of parents at a wedding. Our personal highlight comes in the form of the cameo by Lanvin's creative director, Alber Ebaz, who pushes lesser male models out of the way so he can dominate the dance-floor in a floppy fedora hat.

Below are a few of our favourite moves from the video, no doubt soon to be seen at fashion parties everywhere...

1. The Fist Pump

2. The Super Slap

3. The Deep Sea Diver

4. The Under-Arm Sniff'

5. And our personal favourite: Alber takes the floor
