It’s been a busy year for Jourdan Dunn, which saw the 27-year-old supermodel named as Swarovski brand ambassador back in August.

Ahead of her in-store appearance at the Swarovski store in Westfield, Dunn talked exclusively to Stylist.co.uk about what her perfect Christmas looks like.

How will you be spending Christmas day this year?

“It’s gonna be pretty chilled. It’s just my mum, my brothers and my son. Instead of me waking my mum up, it’s going to be my son waking me up early to open up his presents. The first time we had Christmas at my house, I woke him up. I tried to wake him up at, like, 8am and even that was still a bit late for me. I normally want to get up at 7am.”

What’s your favourite thing about Christmas?

“Food and family.”

Who cooks Christmas lunch?

“My mum does and then I’m the sous chef. I’m good at doing the vegetables and seasoning the meat. I’m now kind of a flexitarian – my mum told me to never say that word in interviews – I mainly have a plant-based diet, but I can flex on fish and meat.”

What’s your favourite childhood memory of Christmas?

“I guess having my brothers sleep on my bedroom floor – we’d get duvets and sleeping bags and sleep on the floor and we’d be watching loads of movies. Then we would wake up extra early to go downstairs to see if mum had put the Christmas presents out.”

What’s your guilty pleasure?

“I always like watching the Christmas editions on the food channels, even though I’ve seen all of them, and then watching the Come Dine With Me Christmas special.”

Favourite Christmas film?

“Maybe Love Actually. And they always play Marvel movies on Boxing Day and me and my son Riley love watching them together.”

What’s your favourite Christmas song?

“I’m not really a fan of Christmas songs but if I had to choose, I would say Destiny’s Child, 8 Days of Christmas.”

What’s top of your Christmas wish list?

“I don’t really want anything, apart from a nice Swarovski key ring because I’ve just bought my first house so that would be nice.”

What’s your go-to New Year’s Eve look?

“You just have to show a bit of leg. Even if it’s cold, I’ll still do it.”

What has been your favourite red carpet moment of 2017?

“The Fashion Awards, because I loved my hair and the dress and everything – I feel like that was a moment. And then, in Milan for the Swarovski Christmas party wearing Zeynep Tosun. It was a fun red carpet moment, because I remember we were about to go up into dinner and Edward Enninful and Naomi Campbell came and stopped me and we had a full on photoshoot on the red carpet. Everyone was taking their phones out, watching us get the perfect selfie.”

What has been your personal highlight of 2017?

“Buying my house.”

New Year’s Resolution?

“I haven’t really thought about it, I kind of set myself small goals every day and for the week.”
