Elizabeth Taylor owned plenty of wedding dresses, but her first was arguably her finest - and it's yours for between £30,000 - £50,000.
The dramatic satin gown Taylor wore to her 1950 wedding to Conrad 'Nicky' Hilton goes under the hammer next week at Christie's '120 Years of Pop and culture' auction.
While the screen legend went on to wear seven more bridal gowns, the dress she chose for her first marriage truly epitomises Hollywood glamour, as it was specially created for her by MGM's chief costume designer Helen Rose.

The off-the-shoulder satin dress is made from a fine silk gauze and is embroidered with simulated seed pearls and glass bugle beads in a foliate motif. Duchess of Cambridge, eat your heart out.
Inspired by the wedding dress Taylor wore in MGM movie Father of the Bride, the studio made it for her as a wedding gift.
Nicolette Tomkinson, Director at Christie’s said: "The dress is inextricably tied to the Golden Age of Hollywood, as well as to the extraordinary life and career of the star who wore it. Even more exquisite in the flesh, the dress displays a level of craftsmanship that would be near impossible to recreate today.
"Reflective of a moment in time in which film and fashion came together in perfect harmony, the dress celebrates the timeless style of an icon and the Golden Age of Hollywood glamour.”
Taylor was just 18 when she wed Hilton and the marriage lasted for only eight months. However, the wedding dress is still in premium condition, so if you're in the market for a second-hand gown and have £50,000 to splash out on your big day, head over to Christie's on Wednesday June 26.
