Meet the new generation of celebrity children taking over Fashion Week

By Anna Brech

Move over, mum.

Where once upon a time, Kate Moss, Sadie Frost and Cindy Crawford ruled the runway – now their children are taking over.

Yes, the 90s wonder kids have had some of their own, and a fresh new generation of celebrity models are gearing up to send the industry spinning.

From Anais Gallagher to Selah Marley and Iris Law, celebrity offspring have been spotted all over the shop at Fashion Week this season; modelling, partying and generally being fabulous.

We take a closer look at the up-and-comers set to out shine their famous parents.

Come give them a fist bump (if that’s what the kids still do these days?)…

Anais Gallagher

Anais, 17, is the daughter of Oasis frontman Noel Gallagher and 90s Brit pop wild child, Meg Mathews.

The teenager – who says she’s inspired by Jane Birkin and Debbie Harry – began working as a model while finishing her A-Levels.

She’s fronted campaigns for Reebok and Mulberry, and is pictured here at Tommy Hilfiger’s Rock Circus show; the finale of this season’s London Fashion Week.

Lennon Gallagher

Anais’ cousin Lennon Gallagher put in an appearance at the Dazed Burberry party this season, dressed in the label’s classic trench.

The oldest son of Oasis’ Liam Gallagher and singer-actress Patsy Kensit, Lennon made his runway debut for Topman in January – a collection which, aptly enough, channelled 90s nostalgia.

Dad Liam described himself as “very proud” to watch the landmark moment in his son’s career.

Here’s Lennon with his mum Patsy.

Lila Grace Moss-Hack

The 14-year-old daughter of Kate Moss and ex Jefferson Hack, Lila Grace (pictured left) shows every sign of following in her mum’s supermodel footsteps.

The teen hit the front row of Topshop at London Fashion Week this season, in the company of her world-famous ma.

She made her first foray into modelling earlier this year, as the face of British hair brand, the Braid Bar.

Selah Marley

When your mum’s Lauryn Hill and your grandfather Bob Marley –  Bob Marley – stardom is almost guaranteed to beckon.

Selah Marley, 18, is fast becoming a fixture both on the front row and the catwalk, thanks to her distinctive style – described as “mixing tomboy with sexy” and her impressive music-royalty heritage.

Selah has wanted to be a model since she was a young girl, and has worked with the likes of Beyoncé (for her clothing line Ivy Park) and Kanye West (for Yeezy), along with Chanel and Calvin Klein.

She’s pictured here at the Roksanda show during London Fashion Week.

Here Selah is with her mum, whom she credits as her style icon.

“I think my mom for one is incredibly fashionable,” the model said recently.

“She’s the one who exposed me to the fashion world simply because of everything that she has. Our basement is literally like a museum of couture! It’s insane. I can go shopping down there, and I do.”

Iris Law

As the global ambassador for Burberry Beauty, it was little surprise to see Iris Law at the label’s new collection this season.

The 16-year-old – pictured here with fellow model Kelvin Bueno – is the second child of Jude Law and Sadie Frost, and the goddaughter of Sadie’s close pal, Kate Moss.

Iris landed her gig with the prestigious fashion house earlier this year, sealing her credentials as a model to watch.

“I’ve been wearing Burberry since I was really young, my first baby carrier was from Burberry,” she revealed at the time.

Rafferty Law

Iris’ older brother, Rafferty, could probably give her a few tips; his modelling career has been on the up for a few years now.

The 20-year-old is pictured here on the runway for London Fashion Week’s Adidas Streets EQT show.

He’s previously fronted campaigns for Dolce & Gabbana and Timberland, but his real passion lies in music and DJing.

“Having creative parents has made me creative,” he says.

Kaia Gerber

Kaia Gerber’s mum is one of the supers of the 90s; the inimitable Cindy Crawford. Her dad is entertainment mogul and Cindy’s husband of many years, Rande Gerber.

Just 15, the teen already juggles homework with several modelling gigs, including as the face of Marc Jacobs’ Daisy scent.

She’s seen here on the runway for Burberry SS18 at London Fashion Week.

Kaia and her mum; two peas in a pod.

"My mum always just told me to stay true to myself and be myself and I think people don't remind girls that enough," Kaia said recently.

"I think people might try to change themselves a lot in this industry."

Presley Gerber

Whaddya know, Kaia’s older brother, Presley Gerber, is also a model.

The 18-year-old turned heads on the catwalk for Tommy Hilfiger’s Americana-inspired show in London this week.

His big moment came when he opened the Dolce & Gabbana show in Milan in 2015.

He likes surfing and hanging out with friends, and describes his beauty secret as getting lots of sleep.

The model siblings have always been close – and are seen here posing for a backstage snap together at the Moschino SS18 show in LA, back in June.

Carys Zeta-Jones

Recognise this face?

It’s Carys, the 14-year-old daughter of Oscar-winning Hollywood heavyweights, Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones.

The teen joined her mum for her first introduction to New York Fashion Week at the Michael Kors show earlier this month.

Like mother, like daughter – these two are identical.

Gabriel-Kane Day Lewis

Say hi to Gabriel-Kane Day Lewis, the 22-year-old son of Oscar-winning actor Daniel Day-Lewis. His mum is the acclaimed French actress Isabelle Adjani.

The singer-songwriter grew up flitting between movie sets with his famous parents, and has worked as a model for Calvin Klein, among other labels.

He also worked for Chanel after bumping into Karl Lagerfeld one day while riding round Paris on his Vespa. As you do.

He’s pictured here at the Tommy Hilfiger show this week at London Fashion Week.

Here he is with Pops, who has landed three Oscars over the course of his laudable Hollywood career.

Amber Le Bon

This is Amber Le Bon.

The eldest daughter of old-school super Yasmin Le Bon and Duran Duran singer Simon Le Bon, she is pure 90s heritage and has enjoyed a high-profile modelling career with the likes of Dior, Chanel and Giles Deacon.

The 28-year-old has been doing the rounds at a number of London Fashion Week shows, including here at Jasper Conran SS18.

Seen here with mum, who – unsurprisingly – paved the way for her daughter’s career in modelling.

“I had just finished school and had no idea how to narrow down what I wanted to do,” Amber recalls. “My Mama’s agent said why don’t try modelling until I figured it out, and it started from there really.”

Cora Corré

Cora Corré’s parents are the founders of high-end lingerie line, Agent Provocateur, and her grandmother is none other than Vivienne Westwood – the doyenne of eclectic British style.

She’s signed to Tess Management and posed for legendary fashion photographer David Bailey before she even hit 18.

Cora has been a regular presence at London Fashion Week this season, and is seen here modelling for Adidas Streets EQT show.

Brooklyn Beckham

Of course, Brooklyn Beckham put in an appearance at his mum Victoria Beckham’s show; and the 18-year-old is fast becoming hot fashion property in his own right.

The budding photographer has spent this summer assisting luminary of the fashion photography world, Nick Knight, and previously contributed to campaign imagery for powerhouse Burberry.

He’s due to start uni on the US east coast this month, but we don’t expect his career to slow down much as a result.

Here he is backstage with mum, before her SS18 show was unveiled this month.

"In general we are brought up like any other family,” Brooklyn said recently. “My parents are strict but the most important thing they have taught me is to be humble and kind and to always treat others as I would like to be treated myself."
