Every season it seems a bleached brow makes an appearance but this Paris Fashion Week, show after show has been 'disappearing' brows. Fashion powerhouse Givenchy erased them from all their supers - and not even Cara Delevingne's trademark bushy arches were safe.
Stylist Beauty Editor Sam Flowers is reporting on the SS15 beauty trends, insider gossip and expert tips from backstage at Paris Fashion Week
The tide may just be turning against the 'thick' look that's dominated over the past few years.
For those of you who've followed the masses of tutorials, infographics and tips on how to achieve the perfect, face-framing fuller-figured brow, invested in growth treatments, dye-jobs or even eyebrow extensions (yes they do exist) this may be unwelcome news.
However, fashion's flighty nature means beauty trends will always come and go and we're not talking a return to the days of over-plucked arches, but a temporary cover-up - bleach for the brave, or concealer, foundation and powder to give the illusion of 'erasing' the brows.
While the disappearing brow may take some getting used to, it's undoubtedly a fresh, pared-back look for spring - and the perfect way to refocus attention elsewhere on the face - whether it's glamourised a la Givenchy to accompany bronze feline flicks and seriously contoured cheekbones, or used to centre focus on the hair, as at Maxime Simoens.
