This is what a fashion-forward Disney heroine looks like.
Naomi Campbell glided down the Zac Posen catwalk in a glittering sculpted ballgown reminiscent of Sleeping Beauty's Aurora at New York Fashion Week last night:
It may have echoes of a cartoon princess, but that wasn't strictly the vibe Posen was going for.
"As an arc, we wanted the elegance of Grace Kelly meeting the spice of Chaka Khan," he explained to WWD.
As well as more show-stopping full-skirted numbers, models hit the runway in glossy gowns and skirts with feminine, structured detailing.
The collection was jewel-toned and styled with sleek, glossy waves and subtle make-up.
Daywear was just as glamorous. Olive grey and rich oxblood dominated, with boxy, high collar jackets and barely-there cutaway detailing bringing Posen's Grace Kelly influence to the fore.
Posen and Campbell were rewarded with a standing ovation from a front row that boasted Rihanna, Mary J. Blige, Christina Hendricks and a ver Posen-y looking Katie Holmes.
