Debbie Harry: Style Icon

By Stylist Team

With her platinum blonde hair and razor-sharp cheekbones, Debbie Harry was the first fierce woman in punk rock and defined the New York look with her tough attitude and fearless style.

She may have started out as a Playboy Bunny Girl in New York, but as Blondie's frontwoman, Harry went on to gain style icon status for her wardrobe of thrift store finds and Day-Glo stage outfits by designer Stephen Sprouse.

From biker leathers and leggings on stage at CBGBs, to glamorous catsuits and metallic make-up, Stylist charts the singer's most iconic looks.
