In the heart of London's Mayfair, five-star London hotel Claridge's has become as famous for its Art Deco luxury as for its A-list guests.
But it's the relationship with the fashion elite that has recently distinguished its style credentials. The latest Marc Jacobs collection for Louis Vuitton was inspired by the hotel. Regular guests include Christian Louboutin and Diane von Furstenberg, who even designed a series of rooms and suites for the hotel.
Now Claridge's has appointed fashion illustrator and portrait artist David Downton as their first ever artist-in-residence. Downton has been comissioned to draw stylish guests such as Dita von Teese, model Linda Evangelista and actress Cate Blanchett as a brilliant addition to the hotel's famed photo archives. Available to view now, the collection will only continue to grow with new guests. If you needed an excuse to treat yourself to a trip to the famous hotel, what are you waiting for?
