Mulberry’s new Bryn satchel bag is already garnering celebrity fans in Alexa Chung and Keira Knightley – even though it’s not yet available to buy.

Both Alexa and Keira have been spotted wearing the new Bryn satchel bag, a re-styled version of Mulberry’s iconic Brynmore satchel from the brand’s men’s accessories line.

Mulberry’s new Bryn bag is smaller and neater than the Brynmore but still retains much of the masculine DNA of its counterpart - such as the big flap-over style, classic triple Postman’s Lock and detachable across-body strap.

Speaking about the new Bryn style, Mulberry’s creative director Emma Hill said: “It's a very laid-back, classic and unpretentious style.”

“I think it just works well for day, work and travel,” she explained. “The Bryn is a softer, more feminine version [than the Brynmore], but still a totally practical and simple style.”

Following hot on the heels of Mulberry’s Lana inspired Del Rey handbag, expect to see the new Bryn satchel in Mulberry stores and online from July 16 (prices start at £550). We’re certain having Alexa Chung and Keira Knightley’s seal of approval will ensure it’s a sell-out.
