What do you get when you put Baywatch legend Pamela Anderson, supermodel royalty Naomi Campbell and DJ Khaled all in one fashion show? A Boss show. And we were lucky enough to sit on the front row to watch it unfold. Set outside the Herald Plaza in downtown Miami, the spring/summer 2023 showcase was slightly different this season. With only a matter of days before spring officially arrives here in the UK, the designer’s ethos is ‘see now, buy now’, with pieces from the catwalk being ready to shop right away.

But back to the beginning, when none other than Pamela Anderson – we may have bumped into, moments before, in the hotel lobby – opened the show.

Pammy stepped onto the black runway complete with waterfall backdrop (yes, we all got splashed during the show) in top-to-toe neutrals, wearing a slouchy tailored suit. And the A-list model army didn’t stop there – Pamela was closely followed by DJ Khaled, who was wearing a staple sharp black Boss suit with unbuttoned white shirt . It’s clear to see that tailored sets in the form of two (or even three) piece suits are key for spring/summer. 

We also spotted some additional familiar faces during the show, with model and Stylist cover star Precious Lee also part of the cast, proving the black dress can never fail, no matter the season, in a satin one-shouldered midi given a twist with chunky loafers. No doubt you’ll want to take note, as this pairing just so happens to be the perfect (read: dressy yet comfortable) look to copy and paste for your next night out. 

Not alone on the black dress front, Precious was followed by icon Naomi Campbell, who closed the show wearing a black halterneck tuxedo-style maxi dress – the new way to do tailoring this season, FYI. 

During the finale walk, all the models embraced being soaked by the waterfalls, with Naomi and DJ Khaled getting straight in there! What a way to end the show. 

Demi Lovato was also among the star-studded guests, lapping up the splashes in a white sheer coat over a matchy-matchy white two-piece with barely there heels. Joined on FROW-side by the stars from Drag Race, athletes and a whole host of influencers. 

Another surprise appearance came from Law Roach – Zendaya’s stylist – only a matter of days after announcing his retirement from the industry. What a show!
