From pumped-up power dressing to statement scarves — this is the officewear of the future according to the German fashion label.
What does the future of workwear look like? Boss took it upon themselves to answer this question for their autumn/winter 2023 collection. Housed inside an all-white lab-like corporate setting, the German label showcased its Tech-Topia presentation at Milan Fashion Week. A dynamic robot named Sophia overlooked the entire extravaganza and joined an incredibly fashion-forward crowd that included Naomi Campbell, Suki Waterhouse, Burna Boy and Sonam Kapoor to name a few.
It was a cool, Silicon Valley-type affair. Think sharp suiting in a prim pinstripe pattern with silky ties and tendrils fastened at the neck to imbue a sense of movement. As well as statement eyewear and bold burgundy lips, models carried notepads, umbrellas and pens for desk-ready drama.
Look towards this inventive collection for the ultimate in style inspiration if you’re struggling to curate an office-appropriate wardrobe. Ahead, we’ve rounded up the top three trends to take from the Boss show… this is what we will be wearing on our morning commute and at our 8am briefings.

Nifty neckties

For spring/summer, it seems one accessory will be making a fast return – the humble necktie scarf. Just tie on a little neckerchief to give your outfit a little zhoosh à la Boss, which boasts fabulously rich neckerchiefs with streamlined designs in burgundy, stone and granite hues. Blooming at the neck, these understated extras were worn with cowl-neck blouses and crisp white shirts — oh so chic.
Luxe leather

Trends may come and go but a good-quality leather jacket will last forever and has the ability to make any outfit – no matter how casual – look put together. This season, Boss boasted a slew of luxury leather combos including Matrix-worthy coats, which added a subtle yet unexpected edge to the catwalk.
