Both Sienna Miller and Daisy Edgar-Jones are big fans of the laid-back look.
Boho fashion seems to segregate people into two camps. Those who have fallen in love with the whimsical, romantic style and those (like my girlfriend) who imagine it must mean the people wearing it are either art teachers, fortune tellers or selling shells on the beach (all of which sound like rather great jobs to me).
Regardless, the style is set to be one of the most popular trends for autumn/winter this year, thanks in no small part to Chemena Kamali’s debut Chloé collection in February. Let’s cast our minds back to the sheer maxi dresses, over-the-knee boots and piles of gold jewellery that sauntered down the runway. And a good handful of these same looks were most recently spotted on Daisy Edgar-Jones while promoting her new film Twisters, proving they look just as chic in real life as on the runway.
Over at Copenhagen Fashion Week, the first event to showcase the spring/summer 2025 season, these ultra-feminine looks were also spotted at Rotate, with similar see-through fabrics, exaggerated accessories and floor-skimming lengths making a style statement. So, it’s safe to say the bohemian look is firmly back and should be staying for quite a long time.
Luckily, for anyone wanting to recreate it, the high street has already got on board. Mango has created an entire bohemian muse capsule collection, H&M has firmly stepped into the sheer style and Free People has long focused on floaty, lightweight looks. So, don your best knee-high boots, layer up the gold-tone jewellery while wearing one (or more) of these pieces and you’ll be well on your way to having a boho wardrobe – even if you’re actually an accountant.
& Other Stories suede shorts
Suede, silk and cotton are all favourite fabrics for the bohemian look and these shorts are a standout find. To truly lean into the boho style, pair with knee-high boots or strappy sandals, a loose-fitting blouse and plenty of gold accessories.
Mango ruffled chiffon dress
Mango is always one of the first brands to jump on a new trend and, of course, it hasn’t let us down with boho style. Unveiling a new bohemian muse capsule collection, expect loose-fitting shirts, sheer fabric and plenty of ruffles on floor-skimming dresses. This pale green mini immediately caught our eye.
Per Una cotton rich lace detail blouse
To slightly nod to the boho trend without going full sheer maxi dress and knee-high boots, a blouse is sure to do just the trick. Plus a cotton style such as this one is sure to keep you cool through warm weather.
Asos Design Curve Bardot poplin midi smock dress
Ruffles, puff sleeves and a floaty fabric all make this Asos dress a great boho buy. Complete with a pretty pastel green shade, it’s sure to be a go-to for all occasions.
Arket tiered maxi skirt
While most bohemian buys sit within neutral and pastel colour palettes, don’t write off the trend if you prefer all-black outfits. Instead, look for loose-fitting fabrics and voluminous skirts, such as this tiered Arket option.
By Anthropologie long-sleeve sheer pleated midi dress
Nightdresses are the unexpected style star this season and this Anthropologie option is a great bohemian version. Simple in shape, it can easily be accessorised with a statement belt and boots while the ruffle cuffs and floaty fabric lend it a laid-back look.

Free-Est plenty of love maxi
Free People is one of the best places to search for boho style pieces and this maxi dress is a great example. Available in nine shades, there’s something to suit everyone, and this (much more chic than it sounds) ‘wet plaster’ colour is sure to be popular.
H&M flounced chiffon dress
Sheer fabrics have shot to the top of next season’s most in-demand trends and it seems they’ll be sticking around next summer too, thanks to Copenhagen Fashion Week designers. Whether worn over jeans or a simple slip (or just underwear if you’re feeling a little more daring), this see-through frock is sure to turn heads.
Isabel Marant Oskan moon studded leather shoulder bag
Isabel Marant, much like Chloé, has long leant into the boho style. The Oksan moon bag has been a consistent bestseller, becoming a subtle, studded styling piece. Granted, it’s not from the high street, but it is much lower in price than some other big brand names.

FP One clover printed skirt
While light neutral and pastel shades are particularly popular with boho style, bolder prints and patterns still make an appearance. This asymmetrical skirt proves exactly that and comes in eight other colourways, including green, blue and olive.
Mint Velvet cream broderie anglaise blouse
Broderie anglaise goes hand in hand with boho styling, offering a lightweight, feminine feel. Whether paired with jeans, a floaty skirt or shorts, this cream top will add a elegant spin to any outfit.
