This Wild West-inspired pattern is back and bigger than ever. Now considered the new neutral on the streets, these are some of our favourite cow print pieces to shop now – including 90s slip skirts and sporty suede trainers.
Leopard print will always be a classic, but if you’re looking for a fresh take on animal patterns, it’s time to make way for fashion’s latest obsession: cow print. Spotted all over the streets of Milan and Copenhagen during the recent fashion weeks, this bold pattern has appeared on everything from bags to denim – officially earning a place in the street style rotation.
It’s hardly surprising, given the cowboy-core takeover we’re witnessing. Bella Hadid, Taylor Swift, Lana Del Rey and Beyoncé have all been leaning into the Western aesthetic, bringing luxe leather cowboy boots, 90s-inspired bootcut jeans and rodeo-ready shirts back into the spotlight.
On the catwalks, Dior gave cow print the couture treatment, showcasing a brown and white hide-effect jacket paired with a sleek party dress in its Cruise 2024 collection. Meanwhile, Bottega Veneta reimagined its classic Arco Intrecciato tote in the unmistakable print.

With high fashion leading the way, it was only a matter of time before cow print hit the high street. Now, it’s everywhere. Adidas has just released a new style featuring the pattern, inspired by the Samba and SL 72 trainers. Exclusively available at Asos, they’ve already sold out online.
If you’re looking for alternatives, we’ve included a gorgeous suede pair from River Island that’s just as cool. We’ve also rounded up dresses, denim and lots of trusty jackets – all the essentials you’ll be needing to see you through to spring.
