In true British fashion, last night’s BAFTA guests were greeted with a wet London, but this couldn’t dampen the spirits of the red carpet attendees. A-listers from around the world flew in to attend the prestigious ceremony and shimmered up the red carpet.

Julianne Moore always gets the red carpet right, and last night was no exception. Nominated for Best Actress, the leading lady, wore a blue velvet, strapless number designed by her awards partner, Tom Ford.

Helena Bonham Carter

The King’s Speech actress is renowned for her quirky red carpet choices, but we were pleasantly surprised with her demure, black Vivienne Westwood gown. She attended the awards with her husband director Tim Burton and picked up the award for Best Supporting Actress.
