It's the event that's generated a Twitter trend and an internet meltdown.

When footage leaked on Monday of Solange Knowles lashing out at her brother-in-law Jay-Z - after a Met gala party - it became the most talked about incident in tinseltown.

And now the designer of one of the items that took a starring role in the video, Solange's clutch bag, has created a tongue in cheek advert for her product.

Anya Hindmarch's 'Crisp Packet' clutch was used as a designer weapon during the fight, the rapper even picked up the bag at one stage during the now-infamous fight and tried to hand it back to his furious sister-in-law.

So, once the initial furore over the incident began to wane, the British bag maker decided to poke fun at the incident with a tongue-in-cheek advert for its £995 shiny metal creation that declares the bag 'Worth fighting for.'

It's not the first time a brand has capitalised on a news story with a clever ad campaign.

EUROSTAR MAKES THE MOST OF DAVID BECKHAM'S MOVE TO PARIS SAINT-GERMAN

When David Beckham made a move to Paris Saint-Germain football club last year, Eurostar swiftly knocked together an advert alluding to the football star and his wife Victoria's penchant for naming their children in reference to the cities in which they were conceived or born.
