From cow to antelope, these are the prints set to take over your wardrobes.
We could wax lyrical about our love for leopard print (it’s still key for 2025, FYI), and while leopard will always be our first love, we’re also excited about all the new season animal prints that are joining the chat.
As wild as they come, the spring/summer runways backed all forms of animal-inspired outfits for 2025, and we’re embracing them all with open arms. Roberto Cavalli went for zebra coats worn done up (because it is the outfit), Givenchy also created printed outerwear with the help of chic antelope-style spots and Dries Van Noten went for top-to-toe snake print. Add to this the cow prints that dominated the Gestuz catwalk and your wardrobe is going to transform into a safari/farm at this rate. But how do we actually style these bold prints as part of our everyday uniforms?
If you’re a maximalist and already love these prints, then more is more, and you can take your cue from the runways by going for a full printed ensemble. If you’re more of a minimalist or don’t often wear print, stick to one item at a time. Add a printed shoe to your favourite jeans or a jacket over an otherwise neutral outfit and make it the talking point by going for a statement coat or trousers.
Already shoppable at the likes of Zara, & Other Stories and Rixo, these are the four animal prints to liven up your 2025 looks.

& Other Stories cow print loafers
Not sure how to wear cow print? Ease yourself in with an accessory. We would style these fun loafers with classic hero items, eg baggy jeans and a blazer or leather jacket.
Pieces boxy denim jacket
Delivering all the western-style vibes (another mini-trend this year), this denim jacket has been given a refresh thanks to the cool cow print. We’re picturing this co-ord at a festival in the summer, but you could also wear it for now over a roll-neck knit with barrel-leg jeans and pointed-toe boots.
2. Antelope print

Rixo Rosemary coat
Not just the destination for the best dresses, Rixo also has dreamy outerwear that’ll make you happy to have to wear a coat in winter. Distinct from leopard spots, dotty antelope print has a retro feel that makes this look like it could be a vintage find.
Whistles neutral animal print spot barrel-leg jeans
Barrel-leg jeans are huge news for 2025 – as are animal prints. Add the two together and you get these statement trousers that every fashion editor wants right now. Style with a cosy jumper and loafers (as above) for now and switch to a vest top and shirt with sandals come spring.

Marks & Spencer animal print mini shift dress
Trust us, mini shift dresses are set to be a key style this year, and they’re already dropping in all the ‘new in’ sections. Add a bright bag and heels to this zebra iteration from M&S for a night out or wear with black boots, tights and a maxi coat for day throughout winter. Note: it’s also available in petite and tall lengths.
H&M mohair blend turtleneck jumper
See, winter jumpers needn’t be boring. This H&M zebra knit is here to elevate every outfit from here on out. And yes, no doubt you’ll want the sleek matching midi skirt so you can wear it as a full set.
4. Snake print

New Look faux leather snake print skirt
Fresh in from New Look, this faux leather mini skirt looks so much more expensive than it is. Style with an oversized blazer and ballet flats as soon as the weather warms up.
Zara ballet flats with animal print
Again, if animal print intimidates you slightly then opt for a shoe. These pumps poking out the bottom of a pair of baggy jeans is such an easy way to style the trend that won’t feel too full on.
5. Leopard print

& Other Stories leather bowling bag
With ladylike top-handle handbags set to be a spring/summer staple, you’ll be ahead of the game with this beauty from & Other Stories. With a premium look and feel, people will easily mistake this as a designer buy.
H&M long-sleeve top
A printed layering top is one of the easiest ways to embrace print. Add this long-sleeve style underneath a white shirt or a strappy dress, or simply wear it with a trouser suit. For under £13, you can’t go wrong.
